Recording starts for Robin's new solo jazz album


This week Robin went into the studio for the first time in two years to start laying down tracks for his new CD. Having worked in various jazz groups over the past few years, Robin has decided to take full control of his next project by working alone on a piano/vocal jazz standards album. Recording is taking place at The Chapel and will also be worked on at the repmusic studios, both in Norwich.

Photo shoot in Norwich's city centre as work starts on the visuals for the new solo album
Talented photographer Mark Tristam Lawrence and Robin hit the streets of Norwich this week to take part in a photo shoot for the cover design for Robin's new solo album. Norwich's famed marketplace and the various parks in and around Norwich, as well as the city's premier piano bar, Cafe Bar Marzano set the scene for the artistic shots which will form the back bone of the currently untitled new CD.

December 2004
New solo album recording finished
This week, Robin finished the recording of his currently untitled new solo CD. The final version will include over 12 new versions of jazz standards and we are sure will set the jazz world alight in 2005 when released in the summer.
